However, the goods and services produced in an economy are directly and indirectly involved in the emission of pollutants, especially carbon dioxide. Since the first step in dealing with a problem is to recognize the current situation, to investigate the interrelationships of economic activities and carbon dioxide emissions in Yazd province, first using the Industry-Specific FLQ Method (SFLQ), the Yazd province Input-Output table was extracted for the 2016 and then using the amount of energy consumption and emission coefficients, the amount of direct and indirect emissions of carbon dioxide and the effect of total pollution for each economic sector was calculated. The results show that in 2016 in Yazd province, sections "manufacture of non-metallic mineral products", "manufacture of base metals", "manufacture of coke, products of oil refining and nuclear fuel" and "manufacture of chemical materials and products" with a share of 89.93 percent, had the highest emissions. Indirect pollution also accounts for a larger share of total emissions in the province. In general, the results indicate an increase in pollution caused by energy consumption due to the production of goods and services in Yazd province. تضمین پایداری محیط زیست ازجمله اهداف هزاره در گرو کنترل مصرف انرژی‌های فسیلی و آلودگی‌های ناشی از آن است. شناسایی بخش‌های اقتصادی که بیشترین تأثیر را بر ایجاد CO₂ دارند، نخستین گام در کنترل این گاز آلاینده است. بدین منظور در این مقاله برای محاسبه انتشار آلاینده دی‌اکسیدکربن در استان یزد، ابتدا با استفاده از روش‌ سهم مکانی خاص صنعتی (SFLQ)، جدول داده - ستانده استان یزد برای سال‌ 1395 استخراج شد و سپس با استفاده از میزان مصرف انرژی و ضرایب انتشار، میزان انتشار مستقیم و غیرمستقیم آلاینده‌ دی‌اکسیدکربن و اثر کل آلایندگی برای هر بخش اقتصادی محاسبه شد. نتایج نشان می‌دهند در سال‌ 1395 در استان یزد، بخش‌های «ساخت محصولات کانی غیرفلزی»، «ساخت فلزات اساسی» و «ساخت کک، فرآورده‌های حاصل از تصفیه نفت و سوخت‌های هسته‌ای و ساخت مواد و محصولات شیمیایی» با سهم 93/89 درصدی، بیشترین میزان انتشار آلایندگی را داشته‌اند. همچنین آلایندگی غیرمستقیم سهم بیشتری از کل آلایندگی منتشرشده در استان را به خود اختصاص داده است. درمجموع، نتایج بیان‌کنندة افزایش روند آلایندگی ناشی از مصرف انرژی ناشی از تولید کالاها و خدمات استان یزد هستند. https://ue.ui.ac.ir/article_26851_7a76bc991304c90612682f068f2145e0.pdf
